Welcome to my life with OHS

OHS (Orthostatic Hypotension Syndrome also called postural hypotension)
Is a condition characterized by a significant drop in blood pressure when a person stands up after sitting or lying down, and often causing dizziness or light headedness. A person with OHS may pass out, can experience brain fog, numbness in their feet or hands, weakness and confusion. It typically occurs due to the body's inability to quickly adjust blood pressure in response to changes in position. OHS is sometimes associated with low blood sugar

I will be outlining this condition in the days to come and bring you into my world of chronic illness / pain. I am not asking for sympathy, just merely trying to educate and let you know how you can help people that live with chronic pain. This should be a fun journey for many of us - me included - as we explore new things and maybe I will learn something along the way that will help me deal with this condition.
